Blogpost 2: The Moody Mood Swings

Mood Swings ? What is MOOD SWINGS ? Is It Normal ? Do rapid change of emotions indicate something like "Bipolar Disorder" ? Do rapid change of emotions stresses people ?

Okay what is mood swings for me ? Well, mood swings in my opinion.. is the sudden change of emotions like for example: "You're happy playing video games or computer games then all of a sudden you get irritated  in the middle of the game for no reason." See the sudden change of emotions ? you are happy playing then the next thing you know you are so pissed off for no reason at all. You might think that these people have dual personality but NO they are just changing moods rapidly. I observed that some people think or is thinking that people who changes emotions rapidly is hard to be close with or hard to be friends with. But for me, it is not hard to deal with people who changes mood frequently they just need friends or people who can understand their situations.

Another thing in front of mass media people who have mood swings are said to have a disorder so called the "Bipolar Disorder". There's an article written by: Thomas L. Schwartz, MD; "Bipolar, Manic Depression, Mood Swings: Are They the Same?" this article can be found in blogs.webmd.com he said:

"mood swings portrayed in the media are often labeled as bipolar disorder and may not give a fair representation of this illness. Bipolar disorder is the same as manic depression. Bipolar patients certainly have mood swings but these have to be differentiated from many other types of mood swings."

So people with mood swings are similar to people with "Bipolar Disorder". Bipolar patients is surely to have mood swings as seen above, And people with mood swings are criticized because it is mostly known as "Bipolar Disorder".

Now, that I have mentioned the "Bipolar Disorder", What is Bipolar Disorder? and How come it is related to mood swings? Let the research begin !

VOILA ! The research is completed.

This Definition is written by: The Mayo Clinic Staff that is entitled  "Bipolar" this can be found in www.mayoclinic.com they said:

"Bipolar disorder — sometimes called manic-depressive disorder — is associated with mood swings that range from the lows of depression to the highs of mania. When you become depressed, you may feel sad or hopeless and lose interest or pleasure in most activities. When your mood shifts in the other direction, you may feel euphoric and full of energy. Mood shifts may occur only a few times a year, or as often as several times a day. In some cases, bipolar disorder causes symptoms of depression and mania at the same time."

Now as I have analyzed the definition of "Bipolar Disorder" that was written by The Mayo Clinic StaffI propose that mood swing is like the sub-category of the so called "Bipolar Disorder" this kind of disorder is associated with depression and mania or lack of interest when it comes to sleeping. So therefore, "Bipolar Disorder" is a mental illness to the human mind. And it affects the way of living of the people that has a "Bipolar Disorder."

As I have observed people with "Bipolar Disorder" needs understanding and patience from the people surrounding them. I suggest that whenever we meet people with these kind of disorder whether it is "Bipolar Disorder" or 'Mood Swings" we should give our full patience and understanding because all people changes moods as time flies.

Well, that's it guys hope to see you soon. Good Day !
